Phillip B. Jefferson is based in the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, where he practices in the Workers’ Compensation Defense group. He joined the firm in 2016 after earning a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and graduating from Campbell University School of Law.
In law school, Phillip sat on the Campbell Law Leadership Council, served on the executive board of the Student Bar Association, and competed in numerous competitions as an advocate on Campbell Law’s Mock Trial team.
Outside of the classroom, Phillip was a judicial extern to the Honorable J. Douglas McCullough of the North Carolina Court of Appeals, worked in the Office of the General Counsel at GlaxoSmithKline, and spent a summer in Superior Court as an extern with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office.
