Scott H. Dunnagan joined the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog in 2012 and has been practicing in the Workers’ Compensation Defense and General Civil Litigation Practice Groups.  He has litigated claims in both state and federal court.

Scott represents clients in matters of employment law, including wrongful discharge, workplace harassment and retaliation, wage and overtime claims, and denial of benefits.  He represents employers at administrative hearings, including the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings and Employment Security Commission.

Scott has extensive experience working with condominium and homeowners associations throughout the state, including the following:  collections; responding to Board or Management Company questions; interpretation of documents; orienting the Board and Membership to the governing documents or to a specific issue; attending Board and Association meetings; attending hearings; attending superior court trials; resolving disputes with homeowner(s), such as Declaration violations; and amending the Declaration, Articles of Incorporation or By-Laws of a given Association.”

He also advises clients on matters ranging from preparation of simple service and consulting agreements to divorces involving complex equitable distribution.
