Larry Baker Testifies Before NC IC on Behalf of NCADA

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Aug. 6, 2012) – Lawrence (Larry) Baker, a partner in the Charlotte office of  Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (CSH), testified today before the North Carolina Industrial Commission on behalf of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) at the public hearing concerning the proposed rules to the Industrial Commission. 

Baker was the first person, and only defense attorney, to testify today as one of four representatives of the defense bar. He is also leading the NCADA in submitting written comments to the Commission regarding the proposed rules. 

Baker, who was elected to the NCADA Board of Directors in June, is also serving a one year appointment as Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the NCADA. 

The NCADA is the largest state organization dedicated to the defense bar, currently consisting of almost 1,000 members, representing 170 entities, including law firms, solo practitioners, governmental agencies, and corporations’ legal departments.
