Kara Gansmann and Elizabeth King from the Wilmington office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP will help with the High School Mock Trial Competition in Wilmington.  The competition will be held this Saturday, Feb. 7 at the New Hanover County Courthouse.

High school students from the Wilmington area will compete in teams that try a quadriplegic personal injury case involving a school-sponsored science camp that resulted in a group of students being lost on a mountain where the plaintiff allegedly suffered a fall and spinal cord injury.

The High School Mock Trial Competition is sponsored by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Carolina Center for Civic Education. For more information, visit the Mock Trial Competition website.
