From food drives to gifts, Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP’s (CSH Law) three offices have been celebrating the holiday season by giving back to organizations in their local areas.

CSH Law Raleigh held a holiday food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina through the month of December.  The office collected more than 1,100 food items and more than $350 in monetary donations. The donations were equal to 2,695 meals for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina by staff members, attorneys, and outside friends and family. The office also participated in the Guardian Ad Litem angel tree program and provided gifts for 11 children in three families this holiday season. Toys were also collected for the Salvation Army.

The Wilmington office provided holiday gifts to two children through SHARE’s ‘Tis the Season program. SHARE, a nonprofit organization based in Eastern North Carolina, helps kids and families in need during the holiday season through its ‘Tis the Season program.  The office provided gifts for the children including educational toys, clothes and books as well as basic household items for the children’s families.

In Charlotte, the CSH Law team made contributions to organizations beginning in November.  It kicked off the holiday season by donating four large turkeys and side items to the Charlotte Rescue Mission’s Thanksgiving meal. The office then donated shoeboxes full of toys, treats, art supplies and toiletries to “Operation Christmas Child,” a program of Samaritan’s Purse. The shoeboxes will be shipped to children in needy countries around the world.

The Charlotte office also collected more than $200 and gift cards, blankets/bedding, board games and other gift items for Safe Alliance.
