Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (CSH Law) is proud to announce that its Charlotte office has been selected for the first time as an Honoree for the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2012 Best Places to Work in the Charlotte area.

The Business Journal’s Best Places to Work recognizes companies whose benefits, policies, and practices are among the best in the region. Companies are ranked within three categories based on size – small, medium, and large. The CSH Charlotte office was selected for the Medium Company category, which includes companies with 50-249 employees. In order to be considered for this award, companies must have been in business for at least two years, have 10 or more employees in their Charlotte office, and must be located in the Charlotte region. To begin the process, companies must first be nominated by an employee in their office. All nominated and qualifying companies were contacted by Quantum, an independent human resources survey company, and provided with an online link to an anonymous employee survey. Companies with responses that met Quantum’s specifications were included in the 2012 Best Places to Work final rankings.

Based on point values assigned to each survey question, the Honorees are ranked within each of the three categories. These rankings will be announced at the 2012 Best Places to Work Awards luncheon on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Charlotte Convention Center. Lee Poole, the managing partner in CSH’s Charlotte office, plans to attend the luncheon and accept this award on the firm’s behalf.
