Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (CSH Law) is proud to announce that it is serving as the 2013 presenting sponsor for Step Lively A Walk for Hospice. CSH has served as the presenting sponsor annually, beginning with the inaugural walk in 2010.

Step Lively has raised more than $153,000 since 2010. The proceeds from the walk go to benefit the Hospice of Wake County Benevolent Care Program as well as the Horizons Grief Center. In 2012, 221 participants signed up for Step Lively, 41 of whom were CSH team members. The 2012 walk raised more than $38,000.

“Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog is proud to once again sponsor and participate in Step Lively A Walk for Hospice,” said Dan Hartzog, managing partner of CSH. “This event not only raises funds for Hospice of Wake County, but it also helps to raise awareness of the benefits of its programs and the services they provide within our community.”

Step Lively is a 5K noncompetitive walk that will take place at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 9 a.m.

“We are proud to welcome Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog back as the presenting sponsor for the 2013 Step Lively: A Walk For Hospice.  The firm is a great corporate neighbor, both in terms of their proximity and their level of support for Hospice of Wake County.  Our campus is just a mile away from the firm’s office,” said Mike Blanchard, vice president of development for Hospice of Wake County.  “More important than that, though, is the involvement of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog in our Annual Dinner and The Summer Salute For Hospice in addition to the walk and the number of staff members who volunteer with us.  It’s a great relationship all around and one that we are extremely proud of.”
