Mica Worthy, an attorney in the Charlotte office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, has been named the Chair of the International Law and Practice Section of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) for the 2016-2017 year. Mica, through the NCBA International Law and Practice Section, recently welcomed attorneys from Haiti’s Port-au-Prince Bar to the recent Council meeting to discuss plans for collaboration between the attorneys and law students in the two countries.

Mica has served on the NCBA International Law and Practice Section Council since 2013. The Section serves as an educational, legislative and networking resource for international law practitioners and also organizes the NCBA’s international attorney exchange program, which is slated to take place in 2017.
