Susan Hofer, Chair of the Aviation Litigation Practice Group at Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, was honored to be recently inducted into the Eagle Society of the Aviation Insurance Association (AIA).

Susan has nearly 30 years of experience in litigation and is a FAA certificated pilot, holding commercial and certified flight instructor, instrument airplane, and glider certificates. She has represented manufacturers, pilots, mechanics, FBOs, Part 135 operators, and others in matters involving everything from complex litigation arising from major air crashes to FAA enforcement actions.

Eagle Society members are nominated by the AIA President and Board of Directors.  Each inductee must demonstrate dedication to the AIA, make substantial contributions to the aviation industry and demonstrate achievement in their career in aviation.  Inductees must be members of the AIA for at least ten years.
