Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (CSH Law) today announced that three attorneys have joined its Raleigh office. Katherine Barber-Jones, Lucy Bradley and Katelyn McCombs will serve as associates in the firm.
Katherine Barber-Jones focuses her practice in business disputes, insurance coverage, and construction, premises, and trucking liability, and she also has significant past experience in appellate work, motor vehicle liability, municipalities and public entity law, product liability professional liability, and retail and restaurant law. She has represented businesses and individuals in state and federal courts throughout North Carolina in a variety of civil litigation matters. She has previously briefed and argued cases before the North Carolina Business Court and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Wake Forest University School of Law.
Lucy Bradley focuses her practice in workers compensation litigation. Lucy spent her first three years of practice focusing on workers’ compensation with an insurance defense firm in Raleigh. She represented large corporations and small family-run businesses in workers’ compensation claims through North Carolina. She then spent one year away from defense practice, gaining the perspective of representing claimants in workers’ compensation matters. She received her bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Katelyn McCombs focuses her practice in general liability, specifically the Employment Law and Municipalities & Public Entities groups. She is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law and Campbell University. While in law school, Katelyn worked as a summer clerk at CSH Law and as an extern for the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office and the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
