Taylor Sweet is an associate attorney based in the Charlotte Cranfill Sumner LLP office where she focuses on civil litigation matters. Before joining Cranfill Sumner, Taylor worked at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg District Attorney’s Office where she gained trial court experience. Her work there included prosecuting misdemeanor crimes in District Court, focusing primarily on domestic violence charges.

Taylor received her JD from American University Washington College of Law in Washington DC. There she was a Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. While in DC, she interned for the Honorable Judge Beshouri in DC Superior Court. Prior to law school, Taylor received her degrees in Political Science and Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys hiking, exploring National Parks, skiing, and reading.
