The Continuing Education & Marketing Coordinator is the primary person responsible for handling the continuing education credit approval process for the firm, including course approval, scheduling and submission of attendee records to the North Carolina Department of Insurance, the North Carolina State Bar, Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). This person will also be responsible for logging and maintaining all attendee information in the firm Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Additionally, this person assists with PowerPoint, webinar, and email marketing logistics related to continuing education (CE) at Cranfill Sumner LLP and additional miscellaneous marketing requests and non-credit programming.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2 or more years of applicable experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically PowerPoint), WordPress, CRM (LexisNexis Interaction), Vuture, GoToWebinar, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm with accuracy
  • Knowledge of NetDocs and/or Elite/3E helpful
  • Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely fashion
  • Must be flexible and detail oriented
  • Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle conflicting priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidential information

Essential Functions:

  • Managing process for Continuing Education (CE) with Department of Insurance, Continuing Legal Education (CLE), HRCI, SHRM continuing education credit submissions
  • Review/Develop continuing education outlines for credit submission with attorney assistance
  • PowerPoint design and brand management supporting attorneys in all offices
  • Provide backup using Vuture for client communication and invitations
  • Provide support on monthly Webinars using GoToWebinar, including running practice sessions with presenters, running and providing support during live webinars
  • Build CRM Activities for all Webinar/Event Attendees
  • Promotional Merchandise Client Projects
  • Creation of Request for Proposal (RFP) Package (resumes, practice area pages)
  • Make minor updates to website (attorney bio pages, practice area pages, etc)
  • Firm Seminar CE Attendee Management (Manage staff for in-person attendee check in, put together virtual presentation packets)
  • Provide marketing support for all firm activities and events (evening and weekend work may occasionally be required)
  • Assist with sponsorship packets and necessary paperwork
  • Make updates to Marketing Calendar
  • Make CRM (Interaction) contact updates
  • Monitor and update data in CRM via contact changes submissions; responsible for all regular website updates of POD changes (as posted by HR)
  • Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation
  • Other duties as assigned
