Mica Nguyen Worthy, a litigator in the Charlotte office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner), served on a panel discussion about international arbitration at the International Business Networking Event and Open House of the Charlotte International Arbitration Society (CIAS) on Nov. 19. In attendance were members of the international business community, international lawyers, members of the judiciary and local political leaders. John Lassiter, Chair of the Economic Development Partnership of NC also presented on the emerging industries in NC. The panel discussion addressed how the CIAS mission of increasing international arbitrations in Charlotte serves as a vehicle for economic development in the Carolinas.
