April Bogard Pinder, Esq., has been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal as part of its inaugural Triangle Law Awards.
April is the Chief Executive Officer of Cranfill Sumner LLP and was honored in the Firm Executive category. She joined the firm in November 2025 as its first chief executive hired outside of the partner track and is the first non-partner CEO of a law firm in the Southeast. While she does not practice law at Cranfill Sumner, her experience as a practicing attorney informs her leadership and strategic approach.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience spanning law, banking, and enterprise transformation, April has already driven meaningful change within the firm. Under her leadership, Cranfill Sumner is modernizing its operational infrastructure, strengthening strategic planning processes, and thoughtfully integrating AI and technology into daily workflows to enhance efficiency and client service.
The Triangle Law Awards recognize 20 individuals across a range of practice areas and leadership roles within law firms and legal-adjacent organizations. Honorees will be recognized during a ceremony in April and featured in the April 24 edition of the Triangle Business Journal.
