Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced the addition of the Class and Collective Actions Practice Group to its practice areas.
Marshall Wall, Managing Partner of Cranfill Sumner, will serve as the Chair of the Class and Collective Actions Practice Group.
“Class and Collective Actions can result in monetary damages, business disruptions and reputational harm for companies. The new Class and Collective Actions Practice Group is a natural addition to our offerings and will provide companies facing such actions with responsive and effective representation,” Wall said.
The new practice group will include class certification litigation; merits assessment; discovery of class representatives, certification, and merits issues; court approval of settlement, administration and notice; crisis management and strategic planning; settlement negotiation; and appeals.
“Such legal cases require a special set of legal skills, and we look forward to bringing our experience of defending these cases in State and Federal courts to this new practice group,” Wall said.
