Cranfill Sumner LLP (CSH Law) today announced that four employees were honored with the 2021 Core Value Awards. The honorees are Richard Boyette, Pat Flanagan, Sam LaRoche and Charlotte Neville.

CSH Law presents the award annually to one or more individuals in the firm who best exemplify the firm’s core values of client service, reputation and teamwork.

“Each of these four individuals exemplifies our firm’s core values through and through. Richard, Pat, Sam and Charlotte are role models for client service, reputation and teamwork within our firm, and we are lucky to have them as part of our family,” said Marshall Wall, Managing Partner of CSH Law. 

Richard Boyette is Of Counsel in the Raleigh office of CSH Law.  He has enjoyed a broad civil litigation practice throughout his career. Currently, his litigation practice focuses on defense of lawyers and other professionals, and product liability defense.

Pat Flanagan is a Partner in the firm’s Charlotte office and serves as the Chair of the firm’s Municipalities & Public Entities Practice Group and Vice-Chair of the Employment Practice Group. Before joining CSH Law, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney.

Sam LaRoche is the firm’s IT Director. He is based in the firm’s Raleigh office. Sam has been with the firm for more than 20 years, and he manages technology and IT support for 180+ users in three offices throughout the state. In 2020, he successfully led the firm’s move to remote work during the pandemic.

Charlotte Neville began her career with the firm in 1989 and has spent the majority of that time in our Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. She is currently a Senior Legal Administrative Assistant who supports Jennifer Morris Jones and Charles Hicks in our Raleigh office. Charlotte was a pioneer of the firm’s paperless practice and a resource for staff and attorneys alike.
