Patrick Mincey, Chair of the Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner) White Collar & Criminal Defense Practice Group, has been named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF).

The ABF Fellows comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities.

Membership in the Fellows is limited to 1 percent of lawyers licensed to practice from each jurisdiction.  Patrick is only the 5th attorney to join as a Fellow from North Carolina in 2019.  Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the Board of the ABF. Established in 1955, Fellows support the research of the ABF through annual contributions and sponsor seminars and events of direct relevance to the legal profession.

Patrick is a Partner at Cranfill Sumner and is based in the firm’s Wilmington office.
