On March 15, Patrick Mincey presented at Italy’s Highest Court in Rome on the U.S. Anti-Money Laundering Whistleblower Improvement Act and recent announcements from the Department of Justice about its own new whistleblower program.

The Act includes opportunities for non-U.S. citizens to participate as whistleblowers. The Act will better enable the U.S. government to curb financial crimes that often go undetected and undeterred and will encourage new groups of key individuals to come forward with knowledge of these abuses.

Patrick is the Chair of the Cranfill Sumner LLP White Collar, Government Investigations & Special Matters Practice Group and the Administrative, Regulatory & Government Law Group.
