Cranfill Sumner LLP announced today that Ryan Bostic has joined the firm’s Wilmington office as Of Counsel. His practice is primarily focused in litigation.

He has experience in litigating high exposure personal injury matters, including wrongful death and sexual abuse cases. In addition, he serves as outside counsel to local governments and litigates matters on their behalf. His representation of local governments includes several officer-involved shootings, civil rights litigation, and contract disputes. He also has significant experience in appellate advocacy before both state and federal appellate courts, including submitting amicus briefs on behalf of interested parties.

He previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas E. Johnston, United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.

Bostic is a native of West Virginia. He received his law degree from the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia and his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University. He was a member of Phi Delta Phi, a legal honor society.
