Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner) today announced that Stephen Bell has joined the firm’s Wilmington office as an associate attorney. He will focus his practice in the area civil litigation.
Stephen is a litigator with previous experience at firms in Raleigh and Charleston, S.C. He has more than seven years of experience litigating complex commercial matters for plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies. His work includes commercial litigation, class actions and multi-district litigation, securities litigation and arbitration, real property disputes, high-net-worth estate litigation, premises and product liability litigation, and professional liability litigation.
He was selected as a South Carolina Super Lawyers’ Rising Star for 2019 and 2020.
Stephen is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law and Clemson University. During law school, he served as Articles Editor of the Journal of Law & Policy, a taxation research assistant and an extern for a North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge.
