Advertising injury claims in North Carolina are on the rise, and claimants are seeking to broaden the scope of coverage to include an increasingly large pool of covered actions. Adjusters are faced with interpreting a wide variety of claims and causes of action that claimants are seeking to pull under the advertising injury umbrella. This is leading to many issues for adjusters including defining the claim, analyzing and determining coverage, and ultimately defending and potentially indemnifying the insured.
