Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner) recently named four new partners: Leanne Dale, Katie HartzogAmy Pfeiffer, and Brian Kromke. Leanne, Katie, and Amy practice out of the firm’s Raleigh office and Brian out of the firm’s Wilmington office.

Leanne Dale has been defending a wide variety of workers’ compensation cases in the Raleigh office of CSH since she graduated from Campbell University School of Law in 2002. Prior to practicing law she worked for Disability Determination Services making disability decisions for Social Security. Currently Leanne enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, from national retail stores to regional hospitals, and other businesses of all sizes.

Katie Hartzog joined CSH after graduating from Campbell University School of Law in 2004. Katie began her practice by gaining broad civil litigation defense experience successfully representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of matters that included employment disputes, municipal liability, premises liability, property and contractual disputes, and in homeowners’ association matters. She currently focuses her practice primarily on defending businesses, municipalities, and police departments in employment disputes.

Amy Pfeiffer is a graduate of Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C.  Prior to practicing at CSH, Amy worked for the North Carolina Industrial Commission for 10 years, serving in several roles, highest of which was Deputy Commissioner. During this time she ruled on hundreds of medical motions, and filed opinions and awards on many cases. In 2004 she joined CSH where she now represents defendants in workers’ compensation cases. Amy is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law and a Certified Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.

Brian Kromke has practiced workers’ compensation law since graduating from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2001. Before joining CSH, Brian practiced workers’ comp with the defense firm Patterson, Dilthey, Clay, & Bryson LLP in their Wilmington office. Brian joined the Wilmington office of CSH in 2007, where he now focuses his practice on workers’ compensation claims for employers, insurance companies, and third party administrators across the state.
