The 2nd Annual Kids’ Chance Charity Inshore Fishing Tournament has been rescheduled for Nov. 2 beginning at 8 a.m. in Wrightsville Beach. An Awards Ceremony will follow at 3 p.m. at the Intracoastal Angler, and a Captains’ party will be held the night before the tournament at Dockside Restaurant to kick-off the event.

Originally scheduled for Sept. 7, the tournament was founded and organized by Brian Kromke, a Cranfill Sumner attorney based in Wilmington and a member of the Kids’ Chance of North Carolina board of directors. Cranfill Sumner will sponsor the tournament.

Proceeds of the tournament will be donated to Kids’ Chance of North Carolina, which provides educational scholarships to the children of North Carolina workers who have been catastrophically or fatally injured in work-related accidents.
