Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (CSH Law) today announced that Alissa Lama has been promoted to the position of Human Resources Director for the firm. She is based in the firm’s Raleigh office.

“Alissa Lama has been a valuable member of the Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP team for more than 10 years, and we are proud to promote her to the position of HR Director,” said Barry Pennell, Chief Operating Officer of CSH Law. “Alissa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will guide our human resources team as they support our staff statewide.”

Lama previously served as the Human Resources Manager for the firm and joined the firm in 2008. She has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, with specialties in employee relations and recruiting.  She serves on the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.  Prior to joining CSH Law, she worked for a Rochester-based health care system and was responsible for on-boarding and employee relations. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).

She is originally from Rochester, New York and attended Keuka College, in Keuka Park, New York where she received a degree in Human Resources Management.
