Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner) today announced the promotion of Anna Hedgepeth to the position of Director of Business Development. In this role she will work with attorneys and firm management to develop plans to retain and grow market share, generate awareness of the firm and its lawyers, and build relationships.
Hedgepeth joined Cranfill Sumner in 2013 as the firm’s Business Development and Marketing Manager. In this role, she managed the firm’s marketing and public relations efforts as well as building and nurturing relationships with the firm’s industry, philanthropic, and community partners across the state.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell Law School, Hedgepeth previously served as Director of Client Services for a public relations firm.
Anna is Chair-Elect for the Legal Marketing Association’s Raleigh City Group, a Board Member of the Literacy Council of Wake County, a member of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional Network Member Engagement Task Force, and the Chair of the Community Relations team for the Friends of WakeMed Foundation, and currently serves as a member of an advisory board for a local business with multiple locations across the state.
