Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that Ashley Downing has joined the firm as the Office Manager of its Raleigh office.
Ashley brings more than 15 years of administrative experience, including over a decade in leadership roles supporting complex, high‑volume operational environments. In her role at Cranfill Sumner, she will focus on developing and implementing office‑wide operational procedures that enhance efficiency, strengthen administrative processes, and support effective day‑to‑day operations across the firm’s Raleigh location.
Prior to joining Cranfill Sumner, Ashley managed the State Appellate Defenders’ First Judicial District Office in Chicago, where she oversaw administrative functions and supported legal teams serving clients across the region.
Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Roosevelt University.
