Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that Blake Abbott has joined the firm’s Wilmington office as an associate attorney. He focuses his practice in defending physicians, healthcare providers, and medical practices in complex, high-exposure matters.
Blake, who has represented physicians and medical groups in medical malpractice actions, will be a member of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Practice Group. His legal career began in nationwide class action and mass tort litigation, where he handled high-stakes, multi-million-dollar claims across the country.
He is a graduate of the Charleston School of Law where he graduated cum laude and served on the Moot Court Board as Sergeant at Arms. He received his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University where he graduated with a degree in Biology.
