Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that Chad Dunn has joined the firm’s Raleigh office as Of Counsel. He focuses his practice in civil litigation and insurance defense.
With more than a decade of courtroom experience, Dunn represents insurers, businesses, property owners, developers, and individuals in complex litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and risk-management matters. He also handles insurance defense, insurance coverage litigation, construction defect claims, premises liability matters, UM/UIM claims, landlord-tenant disputes, fair housing claims, and commercial real estate-related litigation throughout North Carolina.
He previously practiced with two Raleigh civil litigation and insurance defense firms and spent several years adjusting claims and supervising claims representatives for two national multiline insurers before attending law school.
He received his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from James Madison University.
