Two Cranfill Sumner LLP attorneys participated in the recent 2023 Education Law Section Annual CLE Program from the North Carolina Bar Association. The event provided an update on education law including discussions about Title IX and athletics, best practices for employers, and a case law update.
RaShawnda Murphy Williams, an attorney in the firm’s Raleigh office, provided leadership as a member of the event planning committee where she was charged with planning and coordinating topics and speakers for the event. In addition, she provided engaging introductions of speakers and facilitated the CLE program.
Q. Shanté Martin, Of Counsel in the firm’s Charlotte office, participated as a speaker at the event. She presented the dynamic, engaging topic entitled “Supervising the Supervisor” to education lawyers and other education stakeholders.
