Jerri Simmons and Russ Racine named as partners

Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner) today announced that Jerri Simmons and Russ Racine have been named partners in the firm. Both attorneys are based in the firm’s Charlotte office.

Jerri Simmons joined Cranfill Sumner in 2010 and has experience handling claims in many areas of workers’ compensation.  She has handled all types of injury by accident and specific traumatic incident claims and death claims. Simmons has significant experience handling occupational disease claims, such as claims involving asbestosis, mesothelioma, silicosis, chemical exposures, etc. She is an alumna of the Wake Forest University School of Law and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Russ Racine practices litigation in the areas of professional negligence, insurance defense, and intellectual property. Throughout his career he has worked with a broad range of clients from individuals to Fortune 100 companies, and he is a registered patent attorney. He has represented clients in Federal and state courts in both North Carolina and South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Denver College of Law and Muhlenberg College.
