Dora Kripapuri Honored with Annual Distinguished Leader in Diversity and Inclusion Award
Cranfill Sumner LLP presented its 2022 Distinguished Leader in Diversity and Inclusion Award to Dora Kripapuri. Dora is the firm’s Director of Legal Recruitment & Development and is based in the firm’s Raleigh office.
The Cranfill Sumner Distinguished Leader in Diversity and Inclusion Award is presented to an individual who embodies the firm’s commitment to expanding diversity and inclusion within the firm’s offices and the surrounding communities.

As the Director of Legal Recruitment & Development for Cranfill Sumner, Dora is responsible for the firm’s recruiting, hiring, and training processes, law school visits, and summer clerk program. She also coordinates the firm’s mentoring program and serves on the Associates Committee and the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belongingness Committee.
She is a former adjunct professor of writing, representation, advocacy, and persuasion at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN; practiced complex business litigation in Minneapolis, MN and Boston, MA; and served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Boston.
Dora earned her B.A. from Luther College in Decorah, IA in 1995 and her J.D. from New England Law in Boston, MA in 2002.
