Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that Elizabeth Stephens has been promoted to the position of Of Counsel. She is based in the firm’s Raleigh office.

She has established herself as a respected attorney in municipal, employment, and regulatory law and brings a wealth of knowledge from her administrative law and government relations background to everything she does,” said Marshall Wall, Managing Partner of Cranfill Sumner.
She is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on municipal, labor and employment, and administrative and regulatory law. Her legal experience extends to both the private and public sectors, including serving in leadership in the Wisconsin Legislature and acting on behalf of municipal and business interests as a lobbyist. Currently, she also represents municipal interests before the North Carolina General Assembly, particularly with respect to regulatory, administrative, and environmental matters.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
