Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP is proud to serve as one of the title sponsors for the 2015 International Law Symposium on International Contract Drafting: Problems With Pathological Arbitration Clauses. The event, which is presented by the Charlotte International Arbitration Society (CIAS), will feature a keynote address by Anne Marie Whitesell of the International Law Institute.
The event will be held June 12 at 401 South Tryon Street. A networking breakfast will take place before the keynote address in the morning, followed by a luncheon presentation regarding a case study on pathological clauses, and subsequently two informal workshops on Bills of Lading and INCOTERMS. A Happy Hour will follow to conclude the program. CLE credit for North and South Carolina is pending.
Mica Nguyen Worthy, a litigator in the Cranfill Sumner Charlotte office, is serving as the Chair of the Educational and Outreach Committee and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the CIAS.
