Benton Toups and Chris Hinnant of the CSH Wilmington office will be presenting seminars at the Wilmington Biz Expo & Conference today at the Wilmington Convention Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with over 100 exhibitors as well as attend free seminars for several hours in the afternoon. North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory will be the event’s Keynote Speaker over lunch.
Benton’s seminar, “Employment Law 101: What You Need to Know as You Grow,” will cover employment law issues relevant to small business, with an emphasis on the increase in statutory regulation that comes with growth. Benton will be presenting in room #105 from 3:45 – 4:30 pm.
Chris will be presenting on “Protecting your Investment: Legal Strategies for Identifying and Limiting Potential Risks.” His seminar will address common pitfalls for businesses of all sizes related to the legal exposure associated with contracts, leases, and other legal liabilities, with an emphasis on recognizing and potentially limiting risks before they happen.
