Donna Rascoe joins firm as Of Counsel based in Raleigh

Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner) today announced that Donna Rascoe has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the firm’s Raleigh office, and Alesha Campbell has joined the firm as a paralegal.  Rascoe, who previously worked for Cranfill Sumner from 1999-2014, will join the firm’s Education Law Practice Group.

A former teacher and school administrator, Rascoe advises and litigates on behalf of public and private schools in a variety of legal matters. She also handles employment and other civil litigation matters for schools and other public entities.

Rascoe is a resident of Apex who has more than 23 years of experience in education law. In addition to her previous experience at Cranfill Sumner, she also worked at a law firm in Raleigh and was previously a teacher and school administrator.  She is a graduate of the University of Iowa, the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Greensboro and the UNC School of Law.

Alesha Campbell returns to Cranfill Sumner as a paralegal assisting Rascoe in education law and other attorneys within the Raleigh office.  Campbell has 12 years of experience as a paralegal, 10 of which have been with Cranfill Sumner.  She is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal and a notary. She attended the Meredith College Paralegal Program and received a Criminal Justice degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
