Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that J. Lawson Hester has joined the firm’s Raleigh office as Of Counsel.
He concentrates his civil litigation practice in multiple areas of litigation including commercial litigation, products liability, civil rights, insurance law and litigation, insurance law and coverage, employment law and litigation, and general litigation matters.
Lawson is a seasoned litigator with national trial experience, having litigated for more than 36 years and having tried more than 145 trials to verdict. He has been AV Preeminent 5.0 Rated through Martindale-Hubbell since 1994 and has been listed among the Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers in multiple practice areas. He also received the 2018 Leading Civil Rights Litigator of the Year for Mississippi and the Lifetime Achievement Award from America’s Top 100 Attorneys.
Lawson received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Mississippi.
