Jason Harris hosted the June 13 Cranfill Sumner LLP webinar entitled “Maritime and Admiralty Claims in North Carolina – The Jones Act and Beyond.”
The webinar discussed issues including casualties involving boats, maritime workers, vessel operators and passengers, incidents on and near the water, and damages to structures in and around the water. Jason discussed what becomes of the vessel(s) involved in the incident including wreck removal, marine salvage, and strategies to adjust and negotiate such claims and covered distinctions between North Carolina and maritime and admiralty law.
Jason is a Partner in the Cranfill Sumner LLP Wilmington office. He serves as the Chair of the Admiralty and Maritime Law Practice Group.
