Kara Gansmann, an Elder Law and Estate Planning attorney at Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, served as co-planner for the Veterans’ Legal Issues CLE conference on May 18. The event was a joint CLE event for the Military & Veterans Law and Elder & Special Needs Law Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).
Attendees received receive accreditation with the Veterans Administration (VA) or reaccreditation through the VA for attending this course. Accreditation is necessary for attorneys to represent veterans before the VA and to prepare Appeals and certain petitions for VA benefits.
The event was held at the Campbell School of Law in Raleigh.
Kara is currently a voting member of the NCBA Elder Law & Special Needs Law Section Council and is Co-Chair of the Section’s CLE Committee.
