Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that Kristen Harris has received an AV® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. She is Of Counsel and based in the firm’s Raleigh office.

The Martindale-Hubbell AV® Rating is a peer review rating system designed to reflect an attorney’s ethical standards and professional ability.  It surveys attorney colleagues across multiple geographic locations and jurisdictions. Attorneys are rated using five key areas: legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability, and legal experience.

Kristen has represented individuals, businesses, and corporations in state and federal courts. She has extensive trial and dispute resolution experience, having successfully tried cases to verdict across North Carolina and obtained favorable outcomes for her clients at mediations and arbitrations.

She spent more than a decade as a non-partisan legislative analyst and staff attorney at the North Carolina General Assembly where she provided legal guidance to all 170 members of the legislature and staffed numerous Senate and House committees.

She received her law degree from Wake Forest University and her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
