Attorney Leighton Carlock recently served as a moderator for a discussion entitled “Rage Against the Machine: Governing the Use of AI in International Arbitration” which featured Professor S.I. Strong.

The event highlighted Professor Strong’s research on the key issues of using Generative AI within U.S. legal institutions, discussions of copyright issues, privacy concerns, and potential disclosures amongst parties regarding use of AI.

The event was organized by the Atlanta International Arbitration Society (ATLAS) and the Charlotte International Arbitration Society (CIAS).

Leighton is an attorney based in the Charlotte office of Cranfill Sumner LLP and co-chair of Communications for the Charlotte International Arbitration Society.
