Martha Blackman-Hughes, a paralegal in the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, has been appointed to serve as the Parliamentarian and Historian for the North Carolina Paralegal Association. This is Martha’s second term serving in these roles.
As Parliamentarian, Martha maintains and answers questions regarding the association’s bylaws and standing rules and answers parliamentary procedure questions. As historian, she maintains the association’s records and scrapbook and reports to the membership on the association’s events and news.
Martha was appointed at the association’s Annual Meeting in Carolina Beach which was held April 11-13, 2019.
