Jessica Alfonso-Baez is a Nurse Paralegal based in Cranfill Sumner’s Charlotte office.

Jessica graduated from Florida International University with a political science degree and later pursued her nursing degree at Watts School of Nursing. She began her legal career at the age of 17 as a receptionist and worked her way up to the position of Florida Certified Paralegal. After relocating to North Carolina in 2011, she decided to pursue her passion for nursing and specialized in neurology, where she gained extensive experience in step-down, intensive care, and other acute care units. She further enhanced her skills by leading a research project on pain management and creating nursing assessment tools. Jessica brings over 11 years of nursing experience along with over 20 years of legal expertise.

Jessica is married and has 3 children, whom she has homeschooled, and a service dog. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking nature trails, and taking agility classes with her dog.
