Three attorneys with Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP were appointed to serve in leadership positions within DRI. Melody Jolly, Jennifer Morris Jones, and Stephanie Gaston Poley were appointed to serve leadership positions with various DRI committees.

Melody Jolly, a Partner based in the Cranfill Sumner Wilmington office, has been appointed the Vice Chair of the Professional Liability Committee of DRI. Her one-year term begins in October 2017. She is the Co-Chair of the Cranfill Sumner Professional Liability Practice Group and practices professional liability defense, including the defense of attorneys, architects & engineers, real estate professionals, accountants, home inspectors & appraisers, land surveyors, directors & officers of community associations and other non-medical professionals.
Jennifer Morris Jones, a Partner based in the Cranfill Sumner Raleigh office, has been appointed the Vice Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Committee of DRI. Her one-year term will begin in October 2017. She previously served as the Online Community Page and Social Media Chair for DRI’s Workers’ Compensation Committee and the Workers’ Compensation Committee Liaison for DRI’s Women in the Law Committee. She is a North Carolina Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and is experienced in handling all aspects of the process from claims investigation, witness interviews, motions practice, mediations, hearings, appeals and medical depositions.
Stephanie Gaston Poley, a Partner based in the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner, has been re-appointed to the position of Chair of the DRI Retail and Hospitality Committee. Stephanie began a one-year term as Chair of the committee in October 2016 and has been re-appointed to the position for a second one-year term beginning October 2017. Stephanie previously served two terms as the committee’s vice-chair and also served as the Women in the Law SLC Liaison for the DRI Retail and Hospitality Committee. She serves as the Chair of the Cranfill Sumner Retail, Restaurant & Hospitality Practice Group.
