Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that Abigail Robertson has joined the firm’s Charlotte office as an associate attorney. She focuses her practice on employment and municipal law matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Abigail gained defense litigation experience representing corporate clients and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters.
She is a graduate of Elon University School of Law, where she earned her J.D. While in law school, she was selected to join the Moot Court Board, served as a teaching assistant for a legal writing course, and was Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. She also clerked for a Superior Court judge in Los Angeles, interned with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and worked with Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic, assisting local businesses with a variety of legal needs.
She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, graduating magna cum laude. She earned her degree in public relations with a minor in political science. While at Virginia Tech, she worked in the university’s Division I football recruiting office and was involved in several student organizations.
