Abigail is an associate in the firm’s Charlotte office, where she focuses her practice on employment and municipal law matters. Before joining the firm, she gained defense litigation experience representing corporate clients and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters.

Abigail earned her J.D. from Elon University School of Law. During her time there, she was selected to join the school’s Moot Court Board, served as a Teaching Assistant for a legal writing class, and was Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. She also gained valuable experience clerking for a Superior Court judge in Los Angeles, interning at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and working for Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she assisted local businesses with a variety of legal needs.

Prior to beginning her legal career, Abigail earned her B.A. from Virginia Tech, graduating magna cum laude. She completed her undergraduate degree in three years, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Political Science. In addition to her studies, she was actively involved on campus, including working for the university’s Division I football recruiting office and participating in several student organizations.

In her free time, Abigail enjoys traveling, painting, reading, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops.
