Cranfill Sumner LLP today announced that Emily Larrabee has joined the firm’s Raleigh office as an associate attorney.

She is a litigator with experience in both state and federal courts representing licensed professionals including attorneys and accountants against malpractice actions and transportation providers in general liability matters.

She previously practiced in the Philadelphia area representing licensed professionals against malpractice actions and transportation providers in general liability matters. While in law school, she was a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, a judicial intern for the Honorable Renée Marie Bumb, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and a law clerk and paralegal for a Virginia-based law firm.

She served on the Executive Board of the Drexel Law Review and provided pro bono legal services to the Philadelphia community through the Estate Planning Clinic. She received the CALI Awards for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and National Security Law, and her Note was selected for publication in Volume XIV of the Drexel Law Review.

She received her law degree from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond.
