Emily Larrabee is a litigator with experience in both state and federal courts representing licensed professionals including attorneys and accountants against malpractice actions and transportation providers in general liability matters.
Emily earned her JD from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, served on the Executive Board of the Drexel Law Review, and provided pro bono legal services to the Philadelphia community through the Estate Planning Clinic. Emily received the CALI Awards for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and National Security Law, and her Note was selected for publication in Volume XIV of the Drexel Law Review. While in law school, Emily was a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, a judicial intern for the Honorable Renée Marie Bumb, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and a law clerk for a Virginia-based law firm. She worked at that same firm as a paralegal prior to attending law school. Emily earned a BA in International Relations with minors in Chinese and Spanish from the University of Richmond, where she was captain of the Equestrian Team.
Before joining Cranfill Sumner, Emily practiced in the Philadelphia area representing licensed professionals against malpractice actions and transportation providers in general liability matters.
Emily lives in Durham with her partner, Stephen, their dog, Duke, and cats, Talula and Rufus. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and any outdoor activity.
