Jennifer Welch, an attorney based in the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner), has been named the Co-Chair of the firm’s Insurance Law and Coverage Practice Group. She will serve as Co-Chair with Susan Burkhart.
Jennifer is a partner at Cranfill Sumner whose practice focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. She has handled dozens of declaratory judgment actions for insurers and defended insurers against bad faith claims in both state and federal courts. She currently serves as a member of the Insurance Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, the DRI Insurance Law Committee and the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance Insurance Coverage Committee.
Since joining the firm in 2003, Jennifer has also routinely represented clients in matters involving community association law, motor vehicle law and premises liability.
