Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (Cranfill Sumner) today announced that Russ Racine has joined the firm’s Charlotte office where he will focus his practice in the areas of Aviation Law, Construction, Criminal Defense and Intellectual Property.

Racine brings nearly 15 years of experience to Cranfill Sumner.  Most recently he practiced at a Charlotte law firm where he represented clients in legal matters related to criminal defense, intellectual property, construction, aviation, product liability, attorney malpractice, real estate professional malpractice, and utility line damage.

Racine is a member of the North Carolina Bar, South Carolina Bar, and Colorado Bar. He is a United States Patent and Trademark Office Registered Patent Attorney, a North Carolina Certified Dispute Resolution Commission Mediator and an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar and North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.

He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and the University of Denver College of Law.
