Terrie Nelson, an attorney in the Raleigh office of Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, participated in Legal LINK at Person High School in Roxboro on March 29. The program is designed to help introduce the legal profession to high school students who are underrepresented in the legal industry. Terrie sat on a leadership panel and discussed qualities of and challenges for leaders. She also participated in a small group discussion in which she addressed questions concerning law school admission.
The one-hour Legal LINK session discusses the building blocks of LINK (Leadership, Information, Networking and Knowledge) and includes a field trip to a local law school or courthouse.
Legal LINK is presented by the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyer Division.
